About Heritage Hoop Structures

About Our Products

  • Heritage Hoop Structures are round or arch shaped fabric covered steel framed buildings designed to perform in harsh weather environments with heavy snowfall and high winds. This is because the round shape provides better wind deflection and does not allow snow to gather on the top of the structure. However, many sizes of our hoop shelters are available with various straight legs to provide for better access along the sides of the building and additional interior height.

  • Our hoop sheds come in the following widths: 30' wide single pipe and 40'/42', 50'/52', 60'/62', 72' and 80' wide truss buildings as shown on our Home page. Any width building can be ordered in almost any length required.

  • Heritage frame specifications as well as profile dimensions and other information can be downloaded under each building on our home page. We use larger diameter steel tubing to provide more strength and support. With all hoop buildings the steel tubing thickness (referred to as gauge) is also an important consideration. The smaller the gauge number, the heavier the steel; i.e. 12 gauge steel is thicker than 13 gauge steel.

  • Except for our 30' wide single pipe shed, all of our hoop structures are double welded pipe trusses and the truss or leg spacing of our hoop shelters is variable from 8' to 16' spacing depending upon your local environment. On larger buildings or in certain locations, an engineer may be required to determine rafter spacing and foundation. Most smaller building kits are d-i-y friendly.

  • Our fabric is uv-protected high density ripstop polyethylene made from 13.75 oz/m2 with a 20-year pro rata warranty and a long life expectancy with proper tensioning. We offer many colors and color combination for no upcharge.

  • Each of our Heritage hoop buildings is custom made to your exact specifications which can take, depending upon size and our order load, from four to twelve weeks. Because each of our buildings are custom, we do not typically accept returns.

Ordering a Heritage Building

Heritage Hoop Structures are sold through our dealers throughout the US. This website is sponsored by one of them, the Hoop Barn. We ask that you "call for price" and ordering as there are just too many sizes and options for us to create a "buy it now" scenario. Give us a call 888-497-1088. We'll help you quickly with prices and answer your questions. We promise.

Once you have determined exactly which building and options suit your needs, we will send you a written estimate via our online bookkeeping system. If you approve that estimate, it will be converted to an invoice which you will have many options to pay. If you need changes in your estimate, we can quickly make those as well. Although we encourage you to send a check or make a bank transfer to keep our costs lower so we don't have to raise our prices, you also have the option to pay by credit card or debit card without additional charges.

Shipping

  • We have two ways to get our buildings which are palletized upon completion. You are able to pick them up in Nappanee, Indiana or we will ship them via truck directly to you. Pick up is very straight forward. Once the building is paid, you can call and make arrangements to have it loaded on your trailer or truck. We can advise you what size you might need for your particular hoop building.
  • We can ship to the lower (48) states, Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada. When shipping to Canada, it is the customer's responsibility to make arrangements with a shipping broker and pay any associated duties, taxes, and brokerage fees. At this time we do not ship internationally other than Canada, but it never hurts to ask if we can.
  • If we ship to you, your order will probably be delivered by a semi-truck and trailer. Please keep that in mind when you give us a delivery address. The driver will contact you but it is not his responsibility to help you unload. To facilitate delivery, we have to have your cooperation.
  • Your responsibilities:

    • Provide a contact phone and be available for calls from the freight company to schedule a delivery time.
    • Have a capable person present for the delivery to inspect and sign documentation for receipt of the shipment. Any shortages or shipping damages should be noted on the freight bill at this time.
    • Have the proper equipment and personnel to fully unload the truck in a timely manner. A forklift or similar equipment is required for larger buildings.
    • Any charges for any re-delivery, freight company storage charges, additional charges due to address changes, or refusal of the shipment are your responsibility and will be charged to you.

Heritage Hoop Structures are quality fabric tensioned buildings proudly made entirely in the United States. We've been selling Heritage Structures for a long time. We like their buildings a lot. More importantly, at least to us, is that we like the people at Heritage Structures. We've found them to be highly ethical folks willing to work hard with us to get our customers exactly what they need. That's why we at Infinite Earth, LLC sponsored this website for Heritage. They're our kind of people.

If you've read this far you're probably really interested in our Heritage sheds and we thank you for that. We have more general infomation and other lines of hoop sheds at our main website, Hoop Barn.
